Selected on CURL Magazine Stylist Panel 2022!

I am thrilled to be selected on the 2022 Stylist Panel and Advisory Board in CURL Magazine!!! 💃

Curl Magazine is the only printed and international magazine for curly hair! Along with three other panelists, we will be quoted in articles throughout this year, giving advice and tricks for curly-haired women.

There are four issues per year and I will have a full-feature in Issue 16. This will be released on August 1 and arriving in mailboxes by the middle of the month! It also comes in a digital format! 🤗

The article is an overview of my involvement and evolvement with hair and curls in my life and how I have woven a restorative practice within this career.

For the shoot, I worked with a lovely portrait photographer, Pam Borrelli, who is the president of the SFWA. The San Francisco Women's Artists is a non-profit that has been in SF since the late 1800s and the gallery is in the Inner Sunset district.

I always love having my makeup professionally done, but really could have used a hair stylist during the shoot!!! The wind was so strong that day and I had no control. Alas, my waves turned to frizz. And the Golden Gate Bridge was covered in fog. Very SF! 😲😬😁
